OPEN Division

     Bellarmine defeated Valley Christian, 21 to 0, to win the C.C.S. OPEN Division Championship. 

BELLARMINE

     The Bells have played in nine C.C.S. Championship Games.   Bellarmine won the C.C.S. OPEN Division Championship in 2008.   The Bells won the C.C.S. Division I 4A Championship in 1986 and 1990.   Bellarmine won the C.C.S. National Division (I) Championship in 1981.   The Bells were the C.C.S. Division I 4A Runner-ups in 1984 and 1991.   Bellarmine was the C.C.S. Division I Runner-up in 1995 and 2002.   The Bells were the C.C.S. National Division (I) Runner-up in 1980.    Bellarmine has won 35 C.C.S. Playoff Games and lost 23 C.C.S. Playoff Games.
 

VALLEY CHRISTIAN

     Valley Christian lost the C.C.S. OPEN Division Championship to Bellarmine in 2008.  
     The Warriors have played in seven C.C.S. Championship Games.   Valley Christian won the C.C.S. Division I Championship in 2002.   The Warriors won the C.C.S. Division IV Championship in 2003.   Valley Christian won C.C.S. OPEN Division Championship in 2004 and 2005.   The Warriors were the C.C.S. Division IV Runner-ups in 1998 and 1999.   Valley Christian was the C.C.S. OPEN Division Runner-ups in 2008.   The Warriors have won 19 C.C.S. Playoff Games and lost 7 C.C.S. Playoff Games.
 

MEDIUM SCHOOL Division

     No W. C. A. L. teams won the C.C.S. MEDIUM SCHOOLS Division in 2008.  
 

SMALL SCHOOL Division

     Sacred Heart Cathedral defeated Sacred Heart Prep, 38 to 21, to win the C.C.S. SMALL SCHOOL Division Championship. 

SACRED HEART CATHEDRAL

     Sacred Heart Cathedral won the C.C.S. SMALL SCHOOL Division in 2008.   This is S. H. C.'s first C.C.S. Football Championship.
     The Fightin' Irish  have played in one C.C.S. Championship Games.   Sacred Heart Cathedral won the C.C.S. SMALL SCHOOL Division Championship in 2008.    The Fightin' Irish  have won 3 C.C.S. Playoff Games and lost 0 C.C.S. Playoff Games.
 

C.C.S. Football History

ARCHBISHOP MITTY

     The Monarchs have played in five C.C.S. Championship Games.   Archbishop Mitty won the C.C.S. Division III Championship in 1999.   The Monarchs won the C.C.S. Division IV Championship in 1994.   Archbishop Mitty was the C.C.S. Division I Runner-up in 2001.   The Monarchs were the C.C.S. Division III Runner-up in 1997.   Archbishop Mitty was the C.C.S. Division I 2A Runner-up in 1992.    The Monarchs have won 16 C.C.S. Playoff Games and lost 11 C.C.S. Playoff Games.
 

ARCHBISHOP RIORDAN

     Archbishop Riordan won the C.C.S. MEDIUM SCHOOL Division in 2007.   This is the Crusaders first C.C.S. Football Championship.
     The Crusaders have played in three C.C.S. Championship Games.   Archbishop Riordan won the C.C.S. MEDIUM SCHOOL Division Championship in 2007.   The Crusaders was the C.C.S. Runner-up in 1972.   Archbishop Riordan were the C.C.S. Division IV Runner-up in 2000.   Archbishop Riordan has won 7 C.C.S. Playoff Games and lost 5 C.C.S. Playoff Games.
 

JUNIPERO SERRA

     Junipero Serra lost the C.C.S. OPEN Division Semi Final to Bellarmine in 2008.    The Padres have played in one C.C.S. Championship Game.   Junipero Serra won the C.C.S. Division I 3A Championship in 1990.   The Padres have won 7 C.C.S. Playoff Games and lost 8 C.C.S. Playoff Games.
 

SAINT FRANCIS

     Saint Francis lost in C.C.S. 2003 Division I Championship Game to Palma, both teams lost only 2 games all year.  Palma scored a TD with 1 minute and 2 seconds left in the game to win the game 17 to 13, Saint Francis had just made a Field Goal on the prior possession with 2 minutes and 19 seconds left on the clock.   De La Salle beat both teams in September, 2003.  Saint Francis was tied by Los Gatos in the C.C.S. 2002 Division III Championship Game.
     The Lancers have played in twenty-one C.C.S. Championship Games.   Saint Francis won the C.C.S. Division I 4A Championship in 1989, 1991, and 1992.   The Lancers won the C.C.S. Championship in 1977 and 1979.   Saint Francis won the C.C.S. Division I Championship in 1982, 1983, 1986, 1994, 1995, 1996, and 1998.   The Lancers won the C.C.S. Division III Championship in 1993 and 2002.   Saint Francis was the C.C.S. Division I 4A Runner-ups in 1985, 1988, and 1990.   The Lancers were the C.C.S. Division I Runner-ups in 1997 and 2003.   Saint Francis was the C.C.S. Runner-ups in 1973 and 1978.    The Lancers have won 69 C.C.S. Playoff Games and lost 16 C.C.S. Playoff Games and tied 1 C.C.S. Playoff Games.   Saint Francis has won 14 C.C.S. Football Championships, six in a row between 1991 and 1996.
 

SAINT IGNATIUS

     Saint Ignatius won the C.C.S. MEDIUM SCHOOL Division in 2006.   This is the Wildcats first C.C.S. Football Championship.
     The Wildcats have played in one C.C.S. Championship Game.   Saint Ignatius won the C.C.S. MEDIUM SCHOOL Division Championship in 2006.   The Wildcats have won 8 C.C.S. Playoff Games and lost 7 C.C.S. Playoff Games.
