Division II

ARCHBISHOP MITTY

     Archbishop Mitty won the Division II C.C.S. Championship.   Mitty has played in the C.C.S. Championship Match the last fifteen years.   The last three years the Monarchs have played in the C.C.S. Division II Championship Match, winning both years, the previous 8 years the Monarchs had played in the C.C.S. Division I Championship Match, winning 6 times.   The Monarchs were Division III Champions in 1994 and Mitty was the Division IV Champions in 1991, 1992, and 1993.  This is the second Division II C.C.S. Championship for the Monarchs.
 

Division III

PRESENTATION

     Presentation won the Division III C.C.S. Championship by defeating Saint Francis in 3 games (25-20, 25-22, 25-17).  Presentation has won C.C.S. Division III Championships in  1998, 2001, 2002, and a Division I Championship in  1999.  Presentation played in C.C.S. Division III Championship Match in 1987, and 2000.
 

SAINT FRANCIS

     Saint Francis lost the C.C.S. Division III Championship Match.  Saint Francis won the 2003 Division III C.C.S. Championship by defeating Presentation in 3 games (27-25, 25-13, 25-20).  Saint Francis had played in the C.C.S. Championship Match for fourteen years from 1990 until 2003.  The Lancers won the Division II C.C.S. Championship Match for 9 years in row (1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002).  The Lancers were Division I Champions in 1976, 1977, 1990, 1991, and 1992.  St. Francis was the 1993 Division II runner up.  This was their second Division III C.C.S. Championship Match.
 

Division IV

SACRED HEART CATHEDRAL

     Sacred Heart Cathedral won the Division IV C.C.S. Championship.   Sacred Heart Cathedral has won the Division III Championship in 1989 and 2004.  The Fightin' Irish have played in the C.C.S. Championship Match in 1990, in 1991, and in 1997.
 

VALLEY CHRISTIAN

     Valley Christian lost to Menlo School in the C.C.S. Division IV Semifinals in four games (21-25, 24-26, 25-18, 24-26).     The Warriors won the 1986 C.C.S. Division III Championship Match.   Valley Christian lost the 1999 C.C.S. Division IV Championship Match.  The Warriors have lost six times in the C.C.S. Division III Semifinals (1994, 1997, 1998, 2000, and 2004).  Valley Christian lost in the 1992 C.C.S. Division V Semifinals.  The Warriors have lost three times in the C.C.S. Division II North Region Semifinals (1982, 1983 and 1984).

Division V

SACRED HEART PREP

     Sacred Heart Prep played for the C.C.S. Division V championship this year.  The Gators have won eleven C.C.S. Championships.  Sacred Heart Prep has won the C.C.S. Division III Championship in 1988, 1989, and 1990.  The Gators have won the C.C.S. Division V Championship eight times (1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, and 1998).  This is only the second Championship Match lost by Sacred Heart Prep (2001 and 2005).

SAINT IGNATIUS

     Saint Ignatius lost to Saint Francis in the C.C.S. Division III Semifinals in four games (22-25, 17-25, 25-20, 19-25).   The Wildcats lost the 2004 C.C.S. Division III Championship Match.
