volleyball Division II ARCHBISHOP MITTY
Archbishop Mitty won the Division II Northern California Championship.
The Monarchs have won the Northern California Championship Match eight
times. Archbishop Mitty was the Division I Champions in 1995 and
2001. The Monarchs were the Division III Champions in 1994.
This is the fifth Division II Championship. {2003, 2004, 2005, 2006,
& 2007}
SAINT FRANCIS
Saint Francis lost to Archbishop Mitty in the 2007 Northern California
Championship in 3 games (23-25,20-25, 25-27). Saint
Francis lost to Archbishop Mitty in the 2006 Northern California
Championship in 3 games (15-25, 6-25, 17-25). Saint
Francis lost to Bishop O'Dowd in the 2005 Northern California Division III
Semi-Final Match in 3 games (14-25, 15-25, 18-25). Saint
Francis won the 2003 Division III Northern California Championship by
defeating Redwood (Larkspur) in 3 games (25-20, 25- 8, 25-13). Saint
Francis has won the Northern California Championship Match eleven times.
The Lancers were the Division I Champions in 1990 and 2002. Saint
Francis won Division II Championships in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1997, 1998,
1999, 2000, and 2001. The Lancers were the Division III Champions in
2003.
Division III SACRED HEART CATHEDRAL
Sacred Heart Cathedral won the Division III Northern California
Championship. Sacred Heart Cathedral lost to Saint Mary's
(Stockton) in the 2006 Northern California Division III Quarter-Final
Match in 4 games (20-25, 25-22, 15-25, 22-25). The Fightin' Irish
lost the 2005 Division IV Northern California Championship in four games.
Sacred Heart Cathedral won the 2004 and 2007 Division III Northern
California Championship.
SAINT IGNATIUS
Saint Ignatius lost to
Bishop O'Dowd in the Northern California Division III Quarter Finals in 4
games ( 9-25, 33-31, 25-27, 23-25) in 2007.
Division IV
Northern California Volleyball History NOTRE DAME
Notre Dame lost to Campolindo in the 2006 Northern California Division III
Semi-Final Match in 5 games (28-26, 22-25, 23-25, 25-15, 12-15).
PRESENTATION
Presentation lost to Bishop O'Dowd in the 2005 Northern California
Division III Quarter-Final Match in 4 games (25-17, 11-25,
13-25, 15-25). Presentation lost to Redwood (Larkspur) in the 2003 Northern California
Division III Semi-Final Match in 4 games (21-25, 25-20, 18-25, ??-25).
Presentation won the Division III Championship in 2002.
