Basketball

Division I

     Bellarmine defeated Oak Grove, 71 to 46, to win the C.C.S. Division I Championship. 

BELLARMINE

     Bellarmine won the Division I C.C.S. Championship in 2008.   The Bells have won the Division I Championship seven times (1993, 1995, 1996, 1999, 2003, 2004, and 2008).   Bellarmine has played in the championship game nine times.   The Bells have played the Wildcats in four of those championship games, winning in 1993, 1996, and 1999.
 

Division II

     Archbishop Mitty defeated Menlo-Atherton, 71 to 46, to win the C.C.S. Division II Championship. 

ARCHBISHOP MITTY

     The Monarchs have played in twelve C.C.S. Championship Games.   Archbishop Mitty won the C.C.S. Division II Championship in 2007 and 2008.   The Monarchs won the C.C.S. Division III Championship in 2000 and 2003.   Archbishop Mitty was the Division IV Champion in 1989.
 

Division III

     Archbishop Riordan defeated Sacred Heart Cathedral, 60 to 39, to win the C.C.S. Division III Championship. 

ARCHBISHOP RIORDAN

     The Crusaders won their thirteenth C.C.S. Championship Game in 2008.   Archbishop Riordan have played in eighteen C.C.S. Championship Games.   The Crusaders won the C.C.S. Division III Championship in 1998, 1999, 2001, 2006, and 2008.   Archbishop Riordan won the Division I Championship eight times in 1973, 1974, 1980, 1985, 1986, 1989, 1990, and 1994.
     Archbishop Riordan won the State Championship in Division III in 2002.
 

SACRED HEART CATHEDRAL

     Sacred Heart Cathedral won the Division IV C.C.S. Championship in 2006.   The Fightin' Irish have played in the C.C.S. Championship Game nine times.  Sacred Heart Cathedral won three Division IV Championships in 1990, 1991, and 2006.   The Fightin' Irish has won a Division I championship in 1972 and won a Division III championship in 2002.
 

Division IV

C.C.S. Basketball History

JUNIPERO SERRA

     Junipero Serra won the C.C.S. Division I Championship in 2006.   Junipero Serra has played in eight C.C.S. Championship Games and won four in Division I in 1991, 2000, 2005, and 2006.   The Padres were the Division II Champions in 2004
 

SAINT FRANCIS

     Saint Francis won the State Championship in Division II in 1995.
 

SAINT IGNATIUS

     The Wildcats won their first Division III C.C.S. Championship Game in 2007.   Saint Ignatius has always played Division I Basketball prior to 2004, they have played in ten C.C.S. Division I Championship Games, winning three in 1981, 1984, and 1998.   The Wildcats have played Bellarmine in four C.C.S. Championship games, winning in 1998.   Tim Reardon has coached both the Saint Ignatius Boys and Girls to C.C.S. championships.
 

VALLEY CHRISTIAN

     The Warriors have played in nine C.C.S. Championship Games, winning Division V in 1993 and Division IV in 1995, 2004, and 2005.   The 2005 championship is their fourth C.C.S. Championship.
